1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the LegacySanctuary platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a church or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.
2. Use of the Platform
LegacySanctuary provides a digital memorial platform for church congregations. You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose of honoring legacies and preserving church history. Prohibited uses include uploading illegal content, infringing on intellectual property, or engaging in any activity that disrupts platform security.
3. Church Accounts
Church administrators are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and for all activities that occur under their administrative login. This includes managing member access, ensuring the accuracy of memorial content, and adhering to the church's own internal privacy standards.
4. Legacy Profiles & Content
Content uploaded to LegacySanctuary remains the property of the church or the individual contributors. However, by uploading content, you grant LegacySanctuary a non-exclusive license to host and display that content as part of the memorial services provided. All content must adhere to standards of dignity and respect appropriate for a house of worship.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Church accounts can be cancelled at any time, but no refunds will be provided for partial months of service. LegacySanctuary reserves the right to adjust pricing with a minimum of 60 days' notice to active administrators.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, designs, trademarks, and logos associated with LegacySanctuary are the exclusive property of LegacySanctuary. Users may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the platform without express written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
LegacySanctuary is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegacySanctuary shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LegacySanctuary is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
